📖 A Text Book on Cerebral Palsy. Cause Indication and Management.

Cerebral palsy (CP) a movement and postural disorder occurs secondary to lesion in the developing brain. This non- progressive disorder occurs during first 2nd year of life. In the modern era treating a child with CP requires many advanced management in both conservative and operative treatment. However, for rehabilitation of child with CP, current concepts has been introduced in physiotherapy, which helps a child with CP to reach and maintain optimal physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological and social function. These advanced techniques have increased our understanding of causal pathways, opportunities for prevention of primary and value specific intervention strategies in management of CP. These recent advances are very much used in early rehabilitation and management of children with cerebral palsy.
