The objectives of the book is expose readers to concepts of public budget in Nigeria, which serve as the rationale for the proper allocation of public resources and, by implication, calls to question, and the role of Nigerian legislature in Nigeria’s development process. The book is concluded with the notion that sustainability of budget policy and its success depends on the preparedness of stake holders in budget which include executive, legislature, civil society and media to confront the problems and challenges of our budget process which impinge on the positive quality of our budget execution through an articulated budgetary reform programme with the target of making the budget policy successful.
