This book describes the synthesis of 2-(phenoxyl-4’)-4”-1,5-benzodiazepino, 1,5-benzothiazepino, and 1,5-benzoxazepino incorporated analogues of 1,4-benzodiazepines 5.104-5.109 from the corresponding dimethylaminomethylene ketone and chalcone derivatives 5.099-5.103 following the strategies depicted in schemes 5.29-5.34 respectively. The structures of all compounds have been established by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and MS spectral data.
