Yoga is a way of life that has its origins in India. It comprises deep breathing & stretching exercises, meditation and adhering to a healthy dietary pattern which in turn gives you a healthy mind body and soul. In my research I have conducted a quasi experimental study which proves the significance of Yoga in controlling diabetes and it’s impact on obesity. I used vakrasana, a yogic posture which gives wonderful results in optimising diabetes in type 2 diabetes patients. Yoga also helps in reducing body mass index if its practised regularly, however it might take longer to yield results when it comes to the case of reducing your body fat.
