Biodiesel is recognized as a clean alternative fuel. The cultivated land is too limited to grow seed-oil plants sufficient to produce both food and Biodiesel, non-land-based materials have been considered important sources for the production of the Biodiesel.The discarded parts of mixed marine fish species were used as the raw material to produce biodiesel. Marine fish oil was extracted from the discarded parts of mixed marine fish and refined through a series of pretreatment processes. The refined marine fish oil was then transesterified with methyl alcohol to produce biodiesel,which is used thereafter as engine fuel to investigate its engine performance.However,the crude fish oil extracted from the discarded parts may provide an abundant,cheap, and stable source of raw oil to allow maritime countries to produce biodiesel and thus help to reduce pollutant emissions.(B20)Marine Fish oil Biodiesel can also be used as alternative fuel for small marine crafts in a Maritime sector.The objective of this book is to emphasis the importance of various feed-stock of Biodiesel and outline the national and international scenario in the field of Biodiesel.
