The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecastings (NCHMF) is a public-profitable organization which belongs to the National Hydro-Meteorological Service (HMS), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE). NCHMF is Vietnams weather and climate authority, responsible for protecting life, property, and national security. The Marine Hydro-meteorological forecasting division is an operational unit under The National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, performing functions in ensuring marine meteorological forecasting for prevention of natural disasters, socio-economic development, ensuring defense security across the country.
