A series of 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-pivaloylthiourea, substituted guanidines were synthesized in good yield by condensation reaction of 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-pivaloylthiourea with different aliphatic amines by using HgCl2 as guanilating agent.A series of 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-pivaloylthiourea, substituted guanidines were synthesized in good yield by condensation reaction of 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-pivaloylthiourea with different aliphatic amines by using HgCl2 as guanilating agent.
