In this research work, efforts were made to develop a rapid spin column for the purification of proteins and antibodies. Immunoaffinity chromatography is a powerful technique, where the nature of antigen-antibody interaction is exploited to identify, quantitate and purify antigens and antibodies. The ultimate aim of this study was to develop a spin column and to define a “one size fits all” protocol for the purification of the vast majority of the antibodies and their binding partners.
