With special reference to ?Te dio miedo la sangre? (1977) by Sergio Ram?rez and La dama de cristal (1999) by Zelmar Acevedo Diaz. This book examines the dictatorship of the Somoza dynasty in Nicaragua and a fictional female dictator in Argentina in the two dictator novels mentioned above. The reader is presented with the literary style, voice of the dictator and the dictatorial policies in both Latin American territories.
