📖 Efficacy of IPM practice over farmer's practice. A Study in Kathmandu Valley.

The book assessed the efficacy of IPM practice and analyzed the growth yield and plant protection strategies over the conventional farmer’s practice in response of cauliflower, Snow Mystique variety. It was found that, growth and yield in IPM practice was higher than farmer’s practice at the same time incidence of insects’ pest and diseases was also lower in IPM practice as compared to farmer’s practice. Thus, it has been concluded that, IPM is an important tool for profit maximization as overall farm income is increased due to increased yield. Beside, adoption of IPM practice aid to lower the pesticide exposure to human as well as environment there by making the healthy human life as well as ecosystem.
