📖 Environmental Ethics and Sustainable Development. Environmental Values and Ethics(EVEs) among Yarmouk University Students.

"Environmental Ethics and Sustainable Development" is a book for all who are concerned with the environment and its ecosystems. It deals with global environmental ethical theories; non-anthropocentric ethics(biocentric and ecocentric) ethics, and sustainable development ethics. The book focuses on Islamic Environmental Values and Ethics (EVEs) that reflected the previous ethical theories. It sheds the light on three fields of EVEs in a number of Holy verses and Prophetic speeches; The first field is on bringing about environmental balance by cooperation between individuals and groups within the integrity of ecosystems, the second field, providing some EVEs related to environmental management through the rational use of non-renewable resources, and investment in renewable ones,and the final field, focusing on environmental protection with pollution's issues.
