Evaluation of training has been academically challenging,and it is this challenge that prompted the author to venture into the subject. The aim was to contribute to the body of knowledge that already existed. The material in the book refers to period between 1977-1988. The mining industry in Zambia has since been privatized. Different companies now own the mine and have their own philosophies. However the principles discussed in this book with regard to evaluation of training are still relevant and readers will find them useful.
