📖 Factors Influencing the Political Representation in Nepal. A Case Study of Shivgunj VDC in Jhapa District of Nepal.

Economic condition and education of an individual influence his/her representation in politics more than his/her caste. The research disproves the traditional perspectives in Nepal that an individual's caste is a primary factor for his/her representation in politics. The research conclusion was drawn after a field-based research conducted among randomly-selected respondents in Shivgunj Village Development Committee (now reconstituted as Shivasatakshi municipality) in one of the Eastern districts in Nepal.
