Criminal activity has existed in each and every society. The law generally in prison in jail punishes a person who indulges himself in criminal activity. In our society imprisonment is considered as a bad thing. A jailed person, after his release has to face a lot of problems in his life even if he wants to become a useful citizen of the country. The universe of the study comprised on 48 convicted women confined in the Jail. The study on women prisoners in Kot Lakhpat Jail was carried out by a group of students of social work in partial fulfillment of the requirements for it.
