📖 Gamma Scintigraphy: A useful tool for colon targeted drug delivery. A recent non-invasive approach of determining Drug-transit profile in colon.

Gamma Scintigraphy is a recent approach of determining transit profile and and target specificity of specific drug in colon and other body part. With this novel non-invasive approach,drug localization can be visualized in animal or human being under gamma camera after tagging with radio active substance. In this book a functional method of Gamma Scintigrapgy, process of tagging the radio active substance and a experimental study was discussed with a model drug. A detail process and method of preparing samples for this in-vivo study was demonstrated in details.
