📖 HTLV-1 Protease and Inhibitor Discoveries..

The information about Human T-cell Leukemia Virus-I (HTLV-I), HTLV-I protease, and newly discovered HTLV-I protease inhibitors are discussed in details. Kinetic characterization of various constructs of HTLV-1 protease, and the effect of C-terminal residues of this enzyme was investigated. Also, computational studies targeting HTLV-1 protease led to new discoveries of inhibitors, that show effect in HTLV-1 infected cells.
