📖 Impact of Population Dynamics on Inflation. The case of Ethiopia.

Empirical studies on the link between population dynamics and inflation are lacking, most likely reflecting the conventional wisdom that inflation is primarily a monetary phenomenon. Therefore, to fill this research gap this book analyzed how population dynamics influence inflation in Ethiopia in 1982-2015.The Johansen co-integration test was used to see the presence of a long-run relationship between population dynamics and inflation and while the error correction models, to see the short-and long-run relationships.This work may serve as a firsthand reference guide for students, instructors, and policymakers who are interested to understand the macro-economic impacts of population dynamics in developing countries.
