The book main aim is to support rheumatologists in everyday work, who are increasingly confronted with medical problems by former or current athletes. Considering the lack of a large bibliography in this field, we have chosen to detail some rheumatic pathologies encountered in athletes, such as conditions of upper limbs, conditions of lower limbs, low back pain, arthrosis. The ability of rheumatologists to recognize, investigate and treat musculoskeletal diseases renders rheumatology to be very important in sports medicine.
