The Investigation of Aerodynamics of a Car Using CFD presents results of the investigation of the aerodynamics of a car using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). It Investigates the ability of ANSYS Fluent code to accurately predict the drag coefficient on a Sphere, a Cylinder, and an Ahmed body at Reynolds numbers from 100 to 4E6. It computes a drag coefficient of an actual car model for Audi R8, modify the model to reduce the drag force, and validates the results of the investigation with the digitized reference data/experiment results.
