📖 Monitoring Energy Consumption in Android Applications..

A model-based approach for monitoring the consumption of methods in an Android application. By executing tests on an Android device, while keeping trace of the application methods invoked in such tests, the power consumed, and the elapsed time, we created a technique which manages to related invoked methods with excessive consumptions. Excessive consumptions are the ones with a higher ratio between power consumed, time, and number of invoked methods. The technique was tested using different apps.
