📖 Nature of Reasoning in Science. A Critical Analysis of Indian and Western Philosophy.

The book critically discusses the views of positivism and post-positivism on nature of scientific reasoning with special reference to the problem of justification of scientific law propositions and the problem of methodological unity of natural and social sciences, through a critical dialogue of various contemporary important philosophers on the issues. The book also makes a serious attempt to establish a critical analysis of Indian philosophy on the issues mainly through a critical discussion of the views of the Naiyayikas and the Buddhists on the nature of justification of Vyapti propositions.
