This book expands the experimental setup of Professor Dr. Motschmann and Matthias Hofmann, which automated the measurement of lifetimes of foam lamellae by measuring laser reflectance. Additionally a second laser diode (at a different wavelength) and detector was used in order to investigate the possibility of a simultaneous measurement of the film's thickness. Two members of the alkylsulfate family, namely of sodium undecyl sulfate (SUndS) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) are examined. For the SDS-solutions the influence of sodium chloride and varying concentrations are studied.
