Efficient use of the available radio spectrum is an important requirement for future wireless communication systems. The number of user supported in Cellular DS-CDMA system is typically less than the spreading factor and the system is said to be underloaded. The issue of overloading an operational CDMA cell has been addressed in the book. An iterative interference cancellation structure has been considered for this evaluation study.
