📖 Search for Newer Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Agents. Synthesis and anti-inflammatory screening of new bio dynamic heterocycles with COX-2 selective pharmacophore.

This book is focused on the development of newer non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAIAS) which could establish as newer promising NSAIDS. Synthesis of new heterocycles viz. thiazoles, pyrazoles and 2, 4-thiazolidinone-diones possessing COX-2 selective methyl sulphonamide pharmacophore by rational drug design approach is reported. In vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory screening data of synthesized compounds is recorded.
