📖 Studies on Podophyllum hexandrum and Malva Sylvester. A comprehensive study.

Scientific proof against the folklore claims related to the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of oxidative-stress related abnormalities. The present work determines the antioxidant potential of crude extracts of Podophyllum hexandrum and Malva sylvestris against free radical-mediated oxidative damages. Free radical generation is a normal phenomenon in the body. Sometimes, these free radicals are generated in such amounts that body's defence mechanism is not able to remove them.
