In this book attempt has been made to eliminate the problem of finding the right supplier selection . Because supplier selection has a critical effect on the competitiveness of the entire supply chain network. Supplier selection is one of the most important function of a purchasing department. Since by deciding the best supplier, companies can save material costs and increase competitive advantage. However, this decision becomes complicated in case of multiple suppliers, multiple conflicting criteria, and imprecise parameters. In addition, the uncertainty and vagueness of the expert’s opinion is the prominent characteristic of the problem.One of the ABC manufacturing company has been selected for evaluating their best supplier using fuzzy TOPSIS Techniques of priority for similarity to ideal solution methods has been used them.
