Tessie Trout, a young rainbow trout loves her family but is lonely because her friends are on vacation. She explores the stream hoping to find someone to play with. After a few encounters with danger, such as a hungry bear and a fisherman, she finally finds friendship with a camp robber jay. Tessie Trout braves the shallower part of the stream to find C.R. Jaybird caught in a remnant of cast off fishing line. Can she help him to get free before the bear finds her?
