This book is written on the forty days experience of staying in a village of India. The author stayed in such a village where she doesn't know the language. So she used the participatory tools for communicating with the people. This book mainly focuses on five dimensions of rural life i.e social, economic, cultural, political and ecological perspectives. The author stayed in a farmers house and experienced their lives. This book reflects those days of learning.
