Agriculture is a sensitive subject and probably it will always be, due to the fact that it does not have the same importance for developed countries as it has for developing and least developed countries. Agricultural issues are one of the reasons why the Doha Round has not been concluded and this shows that developing and least developed countries are not willing to give up the ‘fight’ only to make happy the developed countries. Everybody is waiting for the conclusion of the round, but nobody knows when or if this will happen.
